The stickerback is for a folded sticker. The size is chosen because when folded it has a 0.2 LDU edge with respect to the part (6191) on which it is attached.
If you want to use a 2.0 x 1.8 flat part stickerback, you need to create a different one.

I really don't like that, as it is misleading. Moreover I can't create a real stickerback020x038 since the name is already taken!
My solution: use a real Sticker Back 2.0 x 3.8, and slightly modify 6221655f.dat to fit:

For me NO. Change this stickerback for your flat part. Then I will upload a new version of the stickerback020x038a for the folded sticker, like for the irregular sticker.

Why do we let the formed shape dictate the size of the flat version? It should be be the other way.
The rule about 0.2 ldu around the edge is, IMHO only valid for the flat versions.

The difference here is less than 1/100 of a milimeter.

The flat sticker proposed by Philippe has full measurements (20 x 38), but it is only partial. It does not completely cover one face of the part 1751 and from the rules that had been given, it would not even be considered to have a stickerback. In the final rule there is no mention of it, but there was a moment when this too was considered.
A sticker 20 x 38 should be applied to a 44 x 80 part, which is a rather strange size to reuse so many times. The measurements of the parts will most easily be 40 x 80, stickerback018x038, or 48 x 80, stickerback022x038.
I understood that the stickerbacks are born to have the same sizes for the same use, not to have all the similar stickers of the same size whatever their use.
The idea of having two different stickerback020x038 is to allow the flat to have with his own measurements and the one flattened to have others, separating the two uses.
The difference is minimal and I will fix it, but in my opinion we are not respecting the spirit with which they were conceived and explained.
